Therapeutic services will combine a variety of manual therapy techniques including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and soft tissue techniques, as well as instruction in and completion of a home exercise program to include soft tissue work and/or stretching. Light to heavy pressure is used depending on your tissue needs.
Myofascial Release (MFR)
MFR, our signature treatment, is a highly effective hands-on technique that provides sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. The fascia is a specialized system of the body that has an appearance similar to a spider's web or a sweater that exists uninterrupted from head to toe. It covers every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ down to the cellular level. In the normal healthy state, the fascia is relaxed and wavy in configuration and has the ability to stretch and move without restriction.
When we experience physical trauma, scarring, or inflammation, the fascia loses its pliability becoming tight and restricted causing tension throughout the body. Trauma (such as a fall, whiplash, surgery, repetitive stress injuries, or habitual poor posture) over time has cumulative effects which may cause fascial restrictions. These changes in the fascial system influence the overall comfort and function of the body. Restricted fascia can exert excessive pressure on the body producing pain and/or limited motion. MFR opens up these restrictions and provides long-term pain relief.
We promote independence in healing through education in proper body mechanics and movement, as well as the enhancement of strength, flexibility, and mind/body awareness. Myofascial Release has been used successfully in the treatment of acute/chronic pain, headaches, digestive discomforts, reproductive concerns, fibromyalgia, and much more.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Gentle and hands-on, Craniosacral Therapy helps the therapist evaluate and enhance the functioning of the craniosacral system - the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect your brain and spinal cord. The role of this system is so important that an imbalance of dysfunction in it can cause sensory motor and neurological dysfunction.
CST reinforces the body's natural healing processes, and is increasingly used as a way to bolster resistance to disease. It is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and other physical dysfunction.
How does Craniosacral Therapy work?
Like the pulse of your cardiovascular system, your craniosacral system has a rhythm you can feel throughout your body. Using a gentle touch, a skilled practitioner can monitor this rhythm at key points on your body and isolate an obstruction or source of stress. Once a source has been found, natural movement of the fluid and related soft tissue helps the body correct itself. This simple action is often all it takes to remove a restriction and dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system. CST can be combined with other manula therapies to help restore your body to optimal function and comfort.

Visceral Manipulation (VM)
An innovative technique that focuses on the internal organs and their influences on other associated structural and physiological functions. Viscera are the soft internal organs of the body, especially those contained within the abdominal and thoracic cavities. The visceral system relies on the interconnected synchronicity between the motions of all the organs and structures of the body. When an organ cannot move in harmony with its neighbors, it paves the way to disease and dysfunction. By using this gentle technique, our therapists are able to enhance tissue movement and mobility to help improve the function of the organs and decrease pain to promote your body’s natural healing process.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic drainage addresses the lymphatic system rather than muscles, tendons, or joints. The lymphatic system is an important part of the immune system. This treatment uses very light, rhythmic movements to increase the rate of flow of lymphatic fluid through the system. Lymphatic drainage is highly effective in reducing inflammation, especially post-surgery or after injury, such as sports injuries. Lymphatic drainage can also be very beneficial when recovering from an illness, as well as helping with handling seasonal changes. After receiving this massage you may experience a slight headache, strong smelling perspiration, or changes in urination or bowel movements. These symptoms are normal as the body releases toxins. Please drink as much water as possible in the next 24 hours. Lymphatic massage is recommended with seasonal changes as well as when recovering from an illness.

Corporate Chair Massage Services
Chair massage is performed while seated on a special massage chair. You will remain fully clothed during the massage. No oils or creams are used. Chair massage utilizes acupressure to relieve tension. The massage usually begins at a slower pace and progresses into a faster pace. The session ends with quick, revitalizing strokes in order to bring the client back to a state of full consciousness.
Chair massages are an important addition to trade shows, corporate events, health and wellness fairs, and are a well-received employee appreciation gift.
