Amy has done wonders for my ongoing headaches. For months I kept getting the same headache in the same place, and nothing would help. I even went so far as to have an MRI and seeing a neurologist. They all chalked it up to stress, but not Amy. She found how “off” my body is in alignment and went for the root of the headaches. After only two sessions, and the exercises she gave me to do, I’m pretty much headache free!

I find Amy’s slow and steady massage techniques to be very helpful for the neuromuscular problems I currently have and they’re also incredibly relaxing. Amy has always made me feel confident in her ability as a therapist. Whether she’s treating me for the residual effects of nerve problems I have in my neck or just loosening up over worked muscles, she takes the time to explain every aspect of her treatment which in turn helps me to help myself. I’ve been a repeat customer for some time and I’m very satisfied with the results. I recommend her to all of my friends.

I have had tendonitis in both arms for two years which is connected to the shoulder pain that I have had for the past year. I didn’t realize how constant my pain and discomfort was until I started seeing gradual changes. Recently, I had a major breakthrough and noticed “the absence of pain in my shoulder!!” The exercises and education are invaluable. I am more aware of specific muscle restriction and when I have increased pain I can alleviate it by myself with the exercises that Amy has taught me.

After having ankle surgery my foot was swollen and I lacked range of motion…this is not uncommon for this type of surgery. I went to see Amy for pain relief and to improve my range of motion. Both of these issues were addressed. After my visit I had improved range of motion. The next day I had even more range of motion and less pain. The best part of my treatment was the feeling like I was a part of it. Amy gave me things that I could do at home too. Everyday I made a small step forward, but after visiting Amy I believe I made a big step.

Amy has restored symmetry and balance in my body and now I can take a deep breath. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She has given me the correct advice for my condition and during the session was very intuitive. There are many good therapists out there, but few are as gifted and intuitive. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Since seeing Amy I have a better sense of well-being and am more aware of the mind/body connection. Amy’s answers to my questions are thoughtful and informative. It’s been a pleasure to get to know Amy. I admire and appreciate what she does and really enjoy who she is.

Several months ago I was experiencing pain in my left hip and down the back of my left leg, which I attributed to the sciatic nerve. It got so bad that I was unable to participate in my Tai Chi classes without pain and could not balance on my left leg. I didn’t know where to go or what to do and did not want to run to my doctor knowing that he’d only prescribe some sort of medications instead of addressing the issue. Amy was recommended to me for myofascial release therapy by an acquaintance of mine. After several sessions with Amy, I can now, once again, participate in Tai Chi as well as my sport of horseback riding, pain free, and the range of motion in my hips, back and legs has increased dramatically. Amy has also suggested several stretching exercises for specific areas and these have also helped me greatly and I plan to continue doing them probably for the rest of my life, or until I no longer can.

I am able to handle stress in a more relaxed mode since seeing Amy. I am amazed how she knows right where my tender areas are even though I don’t have to say anything to her. She is very thorough in her explanations and in her instructions in exercises that I can do at home. Amy makes me feel at ease and comfortable with her caring ways.

My hip and shoulder pain has decreased since seeing Amy. My results are the combined program of treatment and exercises. Together they make a difference. I like being able to perform exercises at home because I have a hand in my own recovery.

I greatly enjoy coming to Natural Balance Therapy. I’ve been to other massage therapists and even have one who lives down the road from me who comes to my house. But I prefer coming to Amy even though she is about 30 miles away. It’s worth the trip! I see a dramatic improvement in how I feel right away. It has even helped my mood and my outlook on life. Amy isn’t just a massage therapist, she’s genuinely a healer.

Overall I have noticed decreased tension in my neck and upper body. I have learned a lot from Amy and am now able to read my body and utilize the tools that she has taught me to handle the tension and pain that I feel. After a treatment I have a general sense of being, am very relaxed and have a real awareness of what my body is saying. I appreciate all of your help.

Amy took great care in making sure I was completely comfortable. The soft, soothing music and the quiet atmosphere relaxed me beyond words. This was my first massage, but won’t be my last!
